Where are the garments designed, manufactured & printed?
All of our designs are conceived & produced in Barcelona, Spain. The garments were manufactured in the USA and internationally in a no-sweat-shop, humane, sustainable way since day one–this is important for us.
For deliveries to USA/Canada, the designs are digitally printed on to the garments in the USA (from North Carolina & California).
For deliveries in Europe the designs are printed in Latvia. It depends on where the final destination of the order is. If an order is to be delivered to an American address, it makes sense to get it printed from the American warehouse while for European orders they will get done in Europe– this allows us to get the products to you faster and cheaper.
How are the garments finally priced? And where do the proceeds made from the sales go?
All garments are made to order/on demand, printed, packaged and dispatched by suppliers who charge for this service which has a higher cost than doing a bulk order in large quantities. Other expenses such as delivery logistics, web service, payment gateway fees, design & marketing, accounting, administration fees are all considered into the final retail price.
After overheads/ running costs are paid, then the net earnings remain—100% of this goes into the growth of the sport for the club Barcelona Lacrosse. It will contribute to buying extra equipment for new players, renting of fields to teach and train, and financial assistance to activities organized by the club and its players. How is the order shipped?
All orders are shipped within 5-10 business days. If an order is to be delivered to an American/Canadian address, it will get shipped from the American warehouse while for European orders they will get done in Europe– this allows us to get the products delivered much quicker and cheaper for the buyer.
Which countries do you deliver to?
At the moment Barcelona Lacrosse delivers to 2 continents: Europe & North America. Before the end of 2019 it is expected to branch out to the Mexico, South America, Middle East, Asia, and Oceania. Here below is the list of countries we are currently delivering to:
Who pays the customs duties & taxes?
Barcelona Lacrosse follows the norm –the buyer is responsible for these fees. For orders that are packed and delivered within the US, they will have state sales tax (for NC & CA orders only), which vary from state to state. For the orders that are packed and delivered within the EU, they will have a VAT of 21% and for the UK 20%. For Canadian deliveries, the items will be shipped from the USA, so just the provincial sales tax would be levied (ranging from 6-9%) depending on the province the delivery is for.
For the rare instances for buyers ordering items which are stocked/shipped exclusively from N. America and opts to ship to countries outside the continent, please note that there will be import duties incurred from your country– any fees are paid to appropriate customs agency by the buyer. These items are clearly marked as such in their product pages.
What's the return policy with Barcelona Lacrosse?
Products purchased from us can be returned in their original condition with 10 business days of receipt for a full refund or within 20 days of receipt for an exchange or a credit. The return address can be found on the packing slip which comes with the product delivery.
Shipping costs incurred in returning an item are not covered by Barcelona Lacrosse, however exchanges are shipped for free from Barcelona Lacrosse to you.Do you accept PayPal or major credit cards?
We gladly accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, or regular account payments all through PayPal.
How secure is this store?
This store uses PayPal & Stripe for payments, and they automatically encrypts your confidential information in transit from your computer to ours using the Secure Sockets Layer protocol (SSL) with an encryption key length of 128-bits (the highest level commercially available).
